Quality Control

We strive to supply consistent quality, same quality as per the sample approved by the customer. To accomplish this we:

• Check the chemistry of the incoming bauxite
• Keep a record of the fusion process
• Test chemical and physical properties of the crushed rock
• Test the final graded size
• Check and test the packing material
• Ensure net weight in the final packing
• Inspect the cargo ready to be shipped

A QC ticket accompanies the material as it clears various stages, and the final packing bears a QC id tag.

The laboratory on our premises has capabilities for

• Performing chemical analysis of bauxite and emery
• Checking specific gravity
• Checking friability (or its opposite, toughness)
• Particle size analysis up to grit no. 2500
